I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Washington University where I majored in Psychology and Spanish.  I earned my Master’s Degree from Seattle Pacific University in Marriage and Family Therapy.  I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington since 2007. 

In addition, I have also completed the extra education and supervision to become a Hispanic Mental Health Specialist, Child Mental Health Specialist and Mental Health Professional.  I worked for four years as a 24 hour crisis responder and helped people negotiate emotional crises both over the phone and in the hospital emergency room. 

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, am an avid photographer and love being outside.  In the summer I enjoy hiking, backpacking and going to the lake.  In the winter I love to snowboard.
